Filtration and Separation Technology Consulting, LLC
Filtration and Separation Technology LLC (F.A.S.T. LLC) was founded in 2004 by Scott Yaeger as a resource for companies that were looking for information on filtration and separation media, filter element design, markets and applications, competitive landscapes, developing markets, application solutions, business opportunities, acquisition due diligence, training, etc. It has served over 50 clients from Fortune 100 to Startups servicing the Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage, Microelectronics, Medical Device, Coatings, Oil and Gas, Water and Waste Water, Aerospace, Automotive and Transportation, and virtually all markets that manufacture or use filtration and separation technology. F.A.S.T. LLC has worked closely with filtration and separation media and element manufacturers, users, investors, and potential owners to enhance their market share, sales, profitability, market and/or business expansion, technologies, customer base, and new application development.
In 2009, clients requested that F.A.S.T. LLC expand its business model to include the development of prototype filtration and separation elements that either better enabled a filtration/separation media performance, improvement in application performance, fit into new applications, etc. F.A.S.T LLC has successfully developed and is developing new filtration and separation element designs that have improved performance by up to 650% using proprietary technology and designs protected either by trade secrets or patents. Scott Yaeger has been granted three (3) Patent on a fully welded spiral element, dual tangential flow spiral element, and a pleated tapered spiral element designs. Several of these element designs are now either commercial products or in scale up to commercialization.
In 2014, Filtration and Separation Technology LLC has changed its name to better present its business as Filtration and Separation Technology Consulting LLC. It has expanded its prototype shop with new technologies, equipment, and personnel to better serve its clients and to pursue new element designs for developing or potential applications.
